Delivery Insurance Terms
Every 5 Minute Blinds order includes Delivery Insurance, at no extra cost. That means your custom blinds and curtains are protected against damage or loss during transit.
If something happens on the way, we’ll remake your product free of charge.
What’s Covered
- Physical damage during transit (e.g. crushed boxes, bent tracks, stained or torn fabric)
- Loss of your parcel by the courier
What’s Not Covered
- Damage caused after delivery (e.g. water damage, staining, pets, children, storage issues)
- Damage caused during installation
- Claims made more than 8 days after delivery
- Incorrect measurements submitted when ordering
This insurance covers the journey — not what happens after your order arrives.
How to Make a Claim
You must notify us within 8 days of delivery by emailing [email protected] with the following:
- Your Order Number
- Photos of the packaging your order arrived in
- Clear photos of the damage
- A list of location names (as per your order) for the affected items
- Any relevant tracking or delivery details
We may request you to return the damaged product(s) at our discretion.
Our Commitment
If your claim meets the conditions above and is approved, we will:
- Remake the affected product(s) at no charge
- Prioritise your remake in production
We reserve the right to decline claims that don’t meet these terms, or that appear to be fraudulent or caused post-delivery.
