Warranty Coverage

5 Minute Blinds (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a 10-year warranty on the following products:

  • Roller Blinds
  • Roman Blinds
  • Vertical Blinds
  • Sheer Curtains
  • Blockout Curtains

This warranty covers defects in materials, parts, and workmanship, including fabrics, mechanisms, and components, resulting in complete product failure. 

The warranty is valid from the date of purchase as stated on the original sales invoice provided to the customer (“you” or “your”)

Warranty Claims

In the event of a defect covered by this warranty, we will either repair the issue or provide a full or similar replacement, subject to product availability. To make a claim under this warranty, you must:

  1. Contact us within the warranty period with details of the defect.
  2. Provide clear photos and a description of the issue.
  3. Provide the original sales invoice as proof of purchase.

Upon receiving a valid claim, we will arrange for the repair or replacement of the defective product.

Transport Costs

We will cover the transport costs for the return and delivery of the defective product to our location for the first 12 months of the warranty. After this period, you are responsible for transporting the defective product to our location at your expense. We will ship the repaired or replacement product to you free of charge.

Exclusions and Limitations

  1. This warranty does not cover:

    • Products that have been modified, subjected to misuse, improper installation, or cleaning.
    • Products that have failed due to normal wear and tear, including natural fabric fading and fabric movement (such as slight shrinkage or stretching).
    • Damages caused by accidents, abuse, or neglect.
    • Damages caused by exposure to extreme weather or environmental conditions.

    Fabric marks or pulls must be reported within 14 days of receiving the product. Failure to report within this time frame may result in the claim being denied.

    Whilst we strive for an exact replacement, some products may only be replaced with a similar product due to changes in color ranges and components over time.

    This warranty is in addition to any rights and remedies available to you under the Australian Consumer Law.

Governing Law

This warranty and any disputes arising in connection with it are governed by the laws of Australia and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
