Not at all. Our blinds take about 5 minutes to install, and our curtains take 20 minutes or less. Every product comes with simple instructions.
Nope. Just a drill, a pencil, tape measure, and maybe a step ladder. For attaching to plaster alone, you can grab hollow wall anchors from Bunnings.
We don’t offer installation services, but most customers find a local handyman can install everything quickly and affordably using our guides.

This is normally 2-3 weeks, but with the Christmas rush of orders, orders placed now will be ready to ship mid January.

Orders are securely packaged and shipped via Direct Freight Express or other trusted carriers like Tasfreight, Startrack, or Mainfreight depending on your location.
Yes. All brackets, screws, and hardware are included.
Get in touch ASAP. If production hasn’t started, we can usually make changes. Once production begins, changes may not be possible.

Delivery is handled by third-party couriers. For peace of mind, we recommend adding Delivery Insurance at checkout. It covers damage or loss and lets us remake your order for free if needed.
Choosing the right blind
Sunscreen blinds give you privacy during the day while still letting you see out. Light filtering blinds blur the view both ways — think of it like frosted glass. Both let soft light in, but block direct sunlight.
The fabric itself blocks 100% of light. No glow, no see-through. But there may still be small light gaps at the edges, especially with inside-mounted (recess fit) blinds. For the best blockout, we recommend face fit blinds with a back roll direction.
Yes! They help reduce heat entering in summer and help keep warmth in during winter. The layer of air between the fabric and the glass creates an insulation effect.
Nope. Measuring is the same. Just make sure your recess has enough depth for both blinds if recess fitting. You’ll need at least 70mm of depth to fit the double roller bracket system.
Most people pair a blockout blind for night with a sunscreen or light filtering blind for daytime privacy.
Measuring and ordering
No need. Just follow our measuring guide. We automatically add extra fabric to stay on the tube when fully extended. You don’t need to adjust for that.
Ideally 60mm or more. You can get away with as little as 30mm, but the blind will stick out past the architrave.
Measure both windows all the way to the corner. Then let us know in the order notes which blind should go “through” the corner and which should “butt” up to it — we’ll adjust the sizes for a neat fit.

Choosing curtain style & look
It depends on your style preference.
- S-Fold (also called wave fold) is the most modern and popular. Smooth, elegant curves and folds.
- Pencil Pleat offers a softer, more traditional gathered look.
- Pinch Pleat is more structured and country feel.

Both options give your curtains weight and drape, but in different ways:
70mm hem is a folded, sewn hem like a cuff. Polished and classic.
Lead-weighted hem has a discreet weight stitched into the bottom edge. Great for a modern, minimalist look.
Both look great so it’s up to your style.
We can do that, just let us know in your order notes. But keep in mind, curtains that puddle will drag on the floor, get dirty, and need regular adjusting. We only recommend this for decorative curtains (not opened/closed often) in low-traffic areas. Otherwise, we make an allowance to have all curtains sit 8-10mm off the floor.
That depends on the curtain style:
- S-Fold curtains hang below the track, which means the track is exposed and part of the overall look.
- Pencil Pleat and Pinch Pleat curtains usually sit above the track, so the track is largely hidden from view. Unless you’re ordering double curtains, where the rear curtain is set slightly lower to stay concealed behind the front one.
As a rough guide:
A single curtain stacked to one side takes up ~25% of the track length.
Curtains opening from the centre will stack ~12.5% to each side.
We recommend going ~30% wider than your window to frame the space nicely. If you’ve got room, wall-to-wall creates the most luxurious look.
We use 2–2.2x fullness. That means for every metre of track, there’s 2–2.2 metres of fabric. It gives curtains a rich, full look whether they’re open or closed.
No. We only make curtains for track systems. Eyelets and rods aren’t compatible with our products.
All of our curtains are made by hand in Melbourne, using premium fabrics and custom fit to your space.
Curtain layouts & tricky spaces
Cornices are a common feature in Australian homes, present in over 90% of them. For that ceiling-to-floor aesthetic, we advise mounting your curtain just below the cornice on the wall. This approach maintains the desired appearance while ensuring the curtains align beautifully with your room’s design, avoiding the awkward spacing that can occur when installing directly onto the ceiling with cornices present.

- Different tracks use different hook types and spacing.
- We can’t guarantee the drop will line up.If you’re investing in custom curtains, you must update the track too. It’s the only way to get a perfect fit.
Yes, we can do curved or bent tracks. Just email us photos of your space at [email protected] and we’ll record a custom video to show you how to measure.

Measuring & installing curtains
No. Just measure the space and we take care of the rest!
For example:
Measure from cornice (or ceiling) to floor — that’s your “drop.”
We adjust for track height and floor clearance.
You don’t need to make any deductions. We’ll do that based on your selections.
Your curtain will be custom-made to fit your space perfectly.
Yes, just use hollow wall anchors (from Bunnings or any hardware store) that support up to 10kg each and work well in most plaster walls.
- For S-Fold + S-Fold, allow 225–235mm
- For Pencil Pleat + S-Fold, allow 180–200mm This ensures both tracks fit neatly and the curtains operate properly.
Whilst studs/battens are recommended, you can still attach to plaster alone. Just use hollow wall anchors (from Bunnings or any hardware store) that support up to 10kg each and work well in most plaster walls.
Double Curtains
Yes, double curtains are installed on two separate tracks, one in front of the other. Each layer operates independently.
Most people go with a sheer curtain in front (for daytime privacy and softness) and a blockout curtain behind (for light control and night-time privacy). But you can mix and match based on your needs.
Care & Maintenance
Never machine wash your curtains. They can shrink or lose their shape. Always spot clean. For fabric-specific instructions, check our cleaning guide:

Start by using our Curtain Measuring Guide. It walks you through every step. Just follow it closely, and you’ll be fine.
Here’s the key idea:
You’re measuring the space, not the curtain.
- Measure from ceiling or cornice to floor for the drop, and wall to wall for the width.
- Don’t make any deductions. We’ll do that for you based on the style and customisations you choose.
- We’ll take care of things like track depth and bracket depth, and floor clearance.

The more width, the better the look.
- We recommend going ~30% wider than the window for the best framing.
- Want a luxury look? Wall-to-wall curtains create atmosphere and softness.
S-Fold + S-Fold needs 225–235mm of depth.
Pencil Pleat + S-Fold needs 180–200mm.
That’s the total space needed to house both tracks and allow them to move freely.
It’s tricky. Instead, mount them just under the cornice on the wall. This gives you the same ceiling-to-floor look while avoiding weird gaps.
