Where Can Sheer Curtains Be Installed?
Face Fit - Attached to your wall
- Attaching the curtain track to the studs in your wall is the most common fit type
- Perfect for a wall-to-wall look if you have cornices
- Allows you to have a curtain track at the height of the ceiling if you don’t have cornices
Top Fit - Attached to your ceiling
- The curtain track is attached to the battens in your ceiling or with hollow wall anchors
- Not a good option if you have cornices, because you want the curtain track to be close to your window
- If you have cornices, the track would be about 150mm+ out from the window and look odd.

Authority to Leave:
Our couriers have the authority to leave products at your address. If you won’t be home, please notify us in the special comments during checkout. Please note that we’re not responsible for damage or loss if the location is unattended during delivery.

Our curtains are provided with tracks for your convenience. While you may choose to use an existing track, compatibility with ours cannot be assured, which might affect the installation. Nonetheless, a new track is included with every curtain purchase.
Yes, our curtains can be installed into plaster walls without the need for battens or wall studs. We recommend using hollow wall anchors, capable of supporting up to 10kg each, to ensure a secure and stable installation.
Cornices are a common feature in Australian homes, present in over 90% of them. For that ceiling-to-floor aesthetic, we advise mounting your curtain just below the cornice on the wall. This approach maintains the desired appearance while ensuring the curtains align beautifully with your room’s design, avoiding the awkward spacing that can occur when installing directly onto the ceiling with cornices present.
